Automotive Steel.

Papu's camper ambulance was a special one, it was made ou of ABS without any painting on it, it was Green, light and economical. Automotive steel is an alloy of steel that rusts, and so has to be painted, usually, by robots as this is hazardous to humans. The steel is made using fossil fuels, usually with a much larger carbon footprint, than you would desire. So owning an automobile, unless a dire necessity was out of the menu of life.
Papu was lucky, a local artist 3D printed an ABS van for her, and it was so well crafted, it had survived all the crash tests and was licensed an experimental vehicle. maybe the whole camper ambulance idea was an experiment, but these days, the wildlife hardly required any medical assistance, not even vaccines, so all that was left, was the task of rare photographs to count them and wait around, to offer any conservation help.
Many months passed by, and only the usual crowd showed up, a few squirrels, the family of porcupines, some deer who had seen it all, and the wild goats who showed up frequently.
Even the fish had migrated away, sick of all that concrete, and those dams in their way, they had all gone south, as fall approached. The birds had migrated away too, maybe fleeing pesticide?
There was a need to add habitats and natural cover, maybe grow Miyawakis and reduce the hunting licensure?
